Have you heard of Sri Somanchi? She is the author of “Management as a profession”. Through her book, she helps people understand the role of project manager and consultant in an organization. She is based at New South Wales, Australia and is currently working in Intel Corporation.  She shares her experiences and history of being a project manager. This book not only helps you to deal with work pressure but also aids in maintaining a balance between personal life and work.

Sri Somanchi tells her experiences as a senior project manager and the duties and responsibilities her designation carries through her book. Having an in-depth knowledge and extraordinary skills may not be quite enough to bring the project to a success. It requires patience, persistence, coordination of the team members and an eye for evaluation to see if the project is able to meet the deadlines on time. She tells her peers that internal communication in the team is crucial for successful completion of the project. Her mother is her motivation right from her childhood and with her inspiration, she started participating in charities and is actively doing voluntary work for them.
